Legal

Terms of use.

These are the terms on which AuditSahi is offered. They say what the service is, what you are responsible for as an account holder, and the limits that apply. They are short because the product is simple to describe.

Draft pending legal review. The company details marked [[NEEDS]] are to be filled in before these terms are relied on.

1. Who is offering the service

AuditSahi is offered by O Square Technologies, a sole proprietorship, of R 121, Phase 8B, Industrial Focal Point, Mohali, SAS Nagar, Punjab 160071. In these terms, we, us and AuditSahi mean that company. You means the person who holds the account and, where you act for an organisation, that organisation.

2. What the service is

AuditSahi helps an Indian organisation prepare for a regulatory or statutory audit. It works out which rulebooks apply to the organisation from the answers you give, drafts policies from the obligations in scope, keeps recurring duties on a calendar with owners and dates, reads the documents you upload and marks what they cover, and assembles an audit pack from the result. It is document based. It never scans, probes or tests any system.

Features may change, and the pricing page says which plans exist and what each includes.

3. What AuditSahi is not

AuditSahi helps you prepare. It does not certify that you comply with any law, regulation or standard, and nothing it shows is a certificate, an opinion or an assurance to a regulator, an auditor or anyone else. It does not give legal advice. Where a rulebook is unclear, or where you are unsure what applies to you, take advice from a qualified professional.

Every verdict in the product is produced by two independent readers and shown with the line in your document it rests on. Readers can be wrong. A person in your organisation reviews what the readers found, rules where they disagree, approves each policy and records each completion. That person, and your organisation, remain responsible for every decision and for compliance itself.

4. Your account

5. Acceptable use

You may use AuditSahi only for preparing your own organisation, or an organisation you are engaged to advise, for an audit. You may not use it to probe, test or attack any system, to upload material you have no right to upload, to upload malicious files, to attempt to reach another account's data, to resell access without our written agreement, or in breach of any law. We may suspend an account that does any of these while we look into it.

6. Your data and your documents

Your documents and the information about your organisation stay yours. You give us permission to process them to provide the service, as described in the privacy notice, including reading them with AI models through the providers named there, on the retention and training terms set out in that notice. You can delete a document or an organisation in the product at any time, and ask us to delete the account.

7. The rulebook

AuditSahi's rulebook is built from regulators' own documents and every obligation cites its clause. Anything we could not read in a primary source is marked unverified and shown that way. Rulebooks change, and we rebuild ours when they do, but we do not promise that the rulebook is complete or current at any given moment. Check the source link beside an obligation when a decision turns on it.

8. Fees

The free account is free. Paid plans, what they include and their prices are on the pricing page at the time you buy. Paid plans are annual, invoiced in advance, and GST is added. Prices for the preview may change, and a change does not affect a year already paid for.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using AuditSahi at any time and delete your account yourself from the Account page. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law prevents it, and we may withdraw the service or a feature of it with reasonable notice. On closure, your organisation data and extracted document text are deleted as described in the privacy notice. Fees for a year already paid are refunded [[NEEDS: refund terms on closure]].

10. Our responsibility to you

We will provide AuditSahi with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a loss that arises from a decision you or your organisation took on the basis of what the product showed, from an audit outcome, from a regulator's action, or from a document you uploaded. Our total liability to you in any year is limited to the fees you paid for that year, or [[NEEDS: liability cap for free accounts]] for a free account. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes and account holders are told by email before the change takes effect for them. Continuing to use AuditSahi after that date is acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mohali, Punjab, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
